I think that to me the process of one thought triggering another thought/association/idea is what makes brainwaves så fascinating. 

Even if a lot of bright ideas seem like a brigt and shining particles they are waves too, because they are the result of a lenghty process of finding and processing input. It just doesn't seem that way when they appear out of blue.</description>
