Wavy world-wonder-winner

The Great Wall of China was recently voted THE new wonder of the world. Before I visited the Great Wall the first time I thought - for some reason - that it ran through a flat grassy wave. But it turned out to be winding through beautiful mountains. The landscape and the winding changes dramatically for every new scenic spot you visit.
But it’s always wavy - like a dragon…
