Thesis #1

I claim that I could feel your pulse
As you fell out
Of your New York penthouse apartment
Was it me swimming upstream?
Or were you merely an ocean
Carefully designed to drown in?

Thesis #2

I claim that I had no pulse
Caught in the middle of
An endless loop of meditation
No activity whatsoever
No whatsoever
No ever
Just oneeee twoooo threeeee

Thesis #3

I claim that we had one pulse
We were little soldiers
Marching in time
We would always climb
The same mountains
Rest in the same meadows
But in the morning
Everything would be out of tune
You would breathe and I would not
I would be under the waves
And you would not

I claim that waking up to this entry my slow, subbtle springbreak morning pulse was kickstarted with a new wave of energy :-)

    This sentence
“Or were you merely an ocean
    Carefully designed to drown in?”

has been my companion for the past week or so.
It has followed me wherever I went, whatever I did.
It is so beautiful, not one word that could be left out.
    Thank you very much.

As you may imagine the previous message made me very happy. Thank you so much!

Add to this that this morning I received a work related e-mail from a colleague starting like this:

    “Hi hi dear friend,
I am very grateful to you for the feedback and the encouragement…”

I can only interpret it so that I am at the peak of my life at this very day (Friday 13th!!) and from now on I can only slide down the wave :-)

@ Kim Christensen - let’s hope you’re rather in a whirlpool of encouragement than on the top of wave ready to slide downwards…

I agree with Levende - the carefully designed ocean sticks in your mind :-)
