These mixed waves of political rooooooar, sight-seers, normality, fear and loathing. I, too, live nearby and so far everything seems very quiet. But there's still that intensity in the air. The shop-owners terrified, the cyclists planning alternative routes, everyone prepared for what may come. And may not. It’s the strangest thing, isn’t it.
