It’s less than a year ago that I started blogging – and I still feel new to a lot of the basic technicalities.

I was told that technorati, del.icio.us, wordpress, bloglines, youtube etc, etc, etc were all easy and basic to use – and now that I’ve tried them they generally ARE very easy and basic to use. But it sure wasn’t easy for me to take that first plunge.
It definately becomes easier and easier now that I’m getting used to diving head-first into the world wide whirlpool – and I’m slowly but surely becoming addicted to the new technologies. Now – for instance – I really, really, really want to be able to claim my blog at Technorati, ‘release the spiders’ (as Technorati calls it) and thereby get the waves rolling.

And it sounds so easy when they say: “Just post this link on your blog”

But it scares me, becuse I’ve no idea what actually happens once the spiders are released – and because I don’t how to check whether it works or not (bear with me if I have to update this post a few times trying to get it to work). So it with chills, ripples and waves of anxiety that I now press PUBLISH…
