Seeing in Waves of Color
Like waves of music, waves of color can transform one’s mood or experience. For the last 7 years I have been painting upon 16mm film with ink pens and acrylic paints, resulting in a collection of “film paintings” called Color + Modulation. The intent of Color + Modulation is to transform a given space into an atmospheric and resplendent environment through undulating waves of color and form. Not intended to be viewed as a traditional movie or animation, this work creates an ambient and visually stunning experience for the viewer.

Ambient and visually stunning indeed… in fact ambient strikes me as a very wavy word.
I’ll definately tjeck back in to these movies whenever I need a time-out.
