The new waveband at the top of SHARE A BRAINWAVE is created by Danish artist Jannie Weimar. It is the first to be exhibited in The WAVEBAND Gallery - an everchaning series of original artwork created by selected comtemporary artists for SHARE A BRAINWAVE.

Jannie Weimar describes herself as follows:

Call me whatever you prefer; a teacher who loves art or an artist who loves teaching…
I am educated at the Royal Academy of Arts – specializing in photography and collage. And I make my living teaching children the wonders of art and design.

And the picture is called:

Wavy hair and a comb (Danish: ‘Bølgehår og redekam’)

What a great idea to exhibit various visual interpretations of waves. Another good reason to keep coming back :-)

@Jannie: I first fell in love with your butterfly cover of Reflexioner and had the poster hanging on the wall of my office, brigthening up many a day…
    Wavy hair, LOL!
*envisions Queen Aleta of Prince Valiant, as she is saying “Because I’m worth it!”

love your artwork, Jannie, a strange mix of old drawings of brains and atoms and molecules and mucles and… fantasy.
